Choosing your permanent makeup brows
Permanent makeup brows are planned around your natural hair pattern, skin, colouring and preferred finish. Your consultation is the place to compare techniques, review suitability and agree a shape that feels balanced rather than overdrawn.
Nano hairstrokes
Fine machine-created strokes can imitate the appearance of individual brow hairs. This option may suit clients who want a light, realistic effect, although the most appropriate technique depends on your skin and existing brow growth.
Powder and ombré brows
Soft shading creates a filled-in effect that can range from subtle definition to a more polished makeup look. Ombré styling is usually lighter at the front and gradually deepens through the arch and tail.
Combination brows
Hairstrokes and shading can be combined where both texture and definition are wanted. Olya will explain how each approach is expected to heal and which option best supports the result discussed during your consultation.
Permanent makeup brows FAQs
How is the brow shape chosen?
Your brows are mapped before treatment using your facial proportions, natural growth and preferences. You can review the proposed shape and discuss adjustments before pigment is implanted.
How long do permanent makeup brows last?
Retention varies with skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare and the technique used. Genuine quality pigments see my clients results lasting years. A colour refresh may be chosen as the pigment gradually softens, but timing is individual.
What happens after the first appointment?
The treatment includes a second procedure around six weeks later. This allows the healed result to be reviewed and refined where appropriate. Follow the personalised preparation and aftercare instructions provided to support healing.
Can previous brow work be treated?
Existing pigment needs to be assessed in person. If it is too dark, dense or unsuitable for correction, removal or lightening may need to be discussed before a new treatment plan is considered.
What should I expect while my brows heal?
The colour can initially look stronger before softening as the skin settles. Temporary dryness, flaking or uneven-looking areas may occur. Avoid picking and follow the aftercare provided; the healed result is assessed at the second procedure.
